As the Founder and CEO of Lab Scraps, Godwill leverages his extensive expertise in chemical operations, regulatory compliance, and sustainable waste management to deliver innovative solutions for analytical laboratory instrument disposal. With a commitment to environmental protection, resource recovery, and recycling, he leads the company in serving Houston’s healthcare facilities, research institutions, and industrial sectors in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, and gas industries. Under his direction, Lab Scraps provides comprehensive services including same-day pickups, on-site compliance consulting by expert chemists, component recycling with 80% material recovery, and flat-rate pricing with no hidden fees, all while maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management.

Prior to founding Lab Scraps, Godwill held key leadership roles in chemical manufacturing and pharmaceutical operations. Currently, as Director of Operations at C-Bond Systems, Inc. dba CB NANOSHIELD, LLC since November 2023, he reports directly to the CEO and oversees all facets of manufacturing and shipping, including the safe management of 45 chemicals in storage tanks. He scaled operations to penetrate the vehicle SAAR market by 5%, increased sales by 62% in 2024 through batch process optimization and assembly inventory creation, and led the relocation of the headquarters and chemical manufacturing plant. Godwill managed $1.5 million in OPEX, implemented improved Management of Change processes across supply chain, quality control, and production departments, and enhanced incident reporting, procedure-based training, and employee accountability systems.

Simultaneously, since September 2024, Godwill serves as a Business Alignment Intern in Pharma Logistics, reporting to the COO and collaborating with C-level executives on transformational projects focused on organizational growth, acquisitions, and change management. Utilizing tools like NetSuite, Monday.com, Sigma Computing, Microsoft Excel, and SQL, he develops performance dashboards tracking KPIs such as EBITDA, Net Revenue Retention, Cost per Item, Employee Retention, and Acquisition Resources. He scribes executive meetings, updates project plans, creates anonymous surveys for process improvement, and directs business alignment while developing quality metrics for reverse distributed pharmaceuticals.

Earlier, as QC Supervisor at REAGENS USA from May 2021 to February 2023, Godwill handled product development, process chemistry, CAPA, nonconformance investigations, environmental monitoring, and wastewater testing. He managed laboratory inventory, purchase orders via Oracle, coordinated QC teams, conducted internal/external audits, ensured ISO 9001 and OSHA compliance, approved raw materials, created Certificates of Analysis, and drove continuous improvement through KPI monitoring, risk analysis, and root cause investigations.

From August 2016 to June 2019, as Analytical Laboratory Manager at SGCE LLC, Godwill prioritized lab safety in a Fischer Tropsch Wax and NSF environment, ensured instrument maintenance and calibration, served as SME on calibration procedures, and produced FDA- and NSF-compliant wax and oil products. He operated short path/molecular distillation systems, studied oil dewaxing and FT liquid products, managed procurement via Oracle, and maintained GMP-compliant instrumentation.

Godwill’s earlier roles included QC Chemist/Analyst at Woodfield Pharmaceuticals from August 2015 to August 2016, where he wrote and revised SOPs for laboratory safety, tested raw materials and finished products in an FDA & cGMP environment, maintained HPLC/UPLC/GC instruments, peer-reviewed analytical reports, and handled compressed gas tanks. As LIMS Coordinator at Albemarle from January to July 2015, he implemented SmartLab Accelrys and ePMC systems, built methods, managed user accounts, collaborated globally on troubleshooting, and completed FDA, cGMP, safety, and environmental compliance trainings.

A dedicated professional with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, Godwill is pursuing a Master of Health Administration in Health Policy and Administration (CAHME) from The Pennsylvania State University, with anticipated graduation in December 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Grand Valley State University (2013), ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training (2022), and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Houston Community College (2022). His certifications include OSHA trainings in Hazard Analysis Control (No. 704), Hazard Communication (No. 705), Job Hazard Analysis (No. 706), Personal Protective Equipment (No. 709), Working with OSHA (No. 744), Laboratory Safety (No. 757), Environmental Management System Introduction (No. 790), Oil and Gas Safety Management (No. 900), and Oil and Gas Hazard Awareness (No. 901).
